Chrystal Housekeeping is also about the environment. We try to embraces every aspect of environmental awareness, to ensure the preservation of our future.  

Chrystal Housekeeping commitments are:

Cleaning products:

·         We use only Environmental Products for all of our cleaning products,

Renewable Energy:

·         We try to encourage customers to using wood or biomass. Although burning wood is considered to be carbon-neutral, wood is a limited resource and should be treated with respect

Recycling:

·         We encourage our customers to recycle their waste: paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, metal etc.

·          Undertake waste reduction, re-use and recycling activities wherever practicable and improve the efficiency of energy use within our organisation

Carbon Footprint:

·         We source & Place Housekeepers to work local to their homes.

·         We recycle all of our business waste, by turning paper waste to animal bedding or fuel blocks, kitchen waste to compost,   and plastics recycled or returned. 

Performance

·        Regularly review our environmental performance and that of our systems

·        Set objectives and work towards targets to ensure continual improvement in environmental performance

Education & Training

·          Ensure Environmental awareness amongst all employees and provide sufficient levels of training to allow them to meet their environmental responsibilities

·          Encourage Customers to improve their environmental performance

·          To encourage other suppliers or services and products to advertise on our site making it easier to source for our customers.
